I love joy. I love the delight I experience in my soul when I
encounter the glory of God. I love
soaking in the intimate presence of the measureless depths of unutterable love.
For in those depths I find the pearl of joy.
When my heart is taken up with delight in Christ, an intensity of love streams
into me and I experience the glory of God that is in my innermost being. Love is the indulgence of my heart because it
is the essence of who God is and therefore is the essence of who I am. In the
simple act of resting in all Christ has placed into me, of awakening my heart
to Christ inside me, Love has the most profound impact; it delights my heart
and fills me with joy.
