Christmas in the Stevens home would not have been Christmas
without the Morecambe and Wise Christmas Show.
Over the years there have been many memorable sketches but
the one I remember and still almost uncontrollably laugh at is Andre Previn
It was the 1971 Christmas Show, and is possibly the most popular Morecambe
and Wise sketch of all.
The momemt when Eric Morecambe informs Andre Previn that he
is ‘playing all the right notes’ is just brilliant.
Andre Previn was also wonderful and showed just what a true
great he is. Spot-on comic timing with the great Eric.
