2023 - A Year of Knowing Deeper Ways

 2023 - God wants you to know that in even deeper ways, in the depth of your heart. That 2023 will be a driving home of the truth for those that are listening - 

God believes in you

God has faith in you 

God sees Christ alive in you and you are his delight. 

Today know that there is NO condemnation for those that are alive in Christ Jesus.

Your life is accepted and your heart is restored because you are a New Creation in Christ Jesus.  Old things have died, they have passed away and you are NEW in Christ. Your life is hidden with Christ in God.

The faith in your heart is the same faith of Christ.

The power in your heart is the resurrection power of Christ.

As Christ is so now are you.

Today know that God believes in you. Know that God has faith in you. Know that God delights in you. 

You are his treasure and his eternal possession, created to manifest all the goodness of God and enjoy him forever.

Be Embraced

Within our hearts, there is a treasure of truth. A treasure stored inside the garden of our belief system that cries out with passion and desire to be embraced. It yearns to be watered with the dew of heaven and it longs to be drenched with the victory of the cross.

The Holy Spirit calls out in our hearts that without Christ something is missing, that without Christ we are incomplete but in Christ, all our desires have been met.

Above all else, the Christian life is a love affair of the heart.

From the beginning of time, God’s connection with mankind has been a heart connection.  Every drop of dew that watered the garden of Eden each morning was a droplet of the grace of God poured out through the Holy Spirit. It was a physical demonstration of an inward reality.

The perfect son of God has in the New Covenant planted and rooted his abundant life into the good soil of your heart. You have become a field of harvest for all the ripe fruit of heaven. Your heart now lives in the eternal season of God’s  favour. 

You are nurtured, nourished, and protected by the power of the Holy Spirit alive in you. Your heart is never disconnected from  God and the spiritual rebirth of your heart produces the lavish fruit you need to sustain the rest of your life.

God has got hold of you and he will not let you go.

Created to be a Reflection

The truth that is there in front of us and calls out to us, is that each of us was created to be a manifestation of God. It is this realisation that has the power to transform the world.  God created us to be his reflection on earth. He created us to see his divine light shine through the eyes of everyone. A living, breathing demonstration of the love, beauty, and glory of himself.

It is almost too much to comprehend and almost impossible to believe. But deep in the purposes of God is the place where we need to see beyond gender, race, class, wealth, job-title or any other label, all boundaries evaporate, and you find yourself in the wonder and beauty of the Father’s creation.

Each day we stand on the edge of a reality that has the power to transform our world. This whisper of God is calling out to us and inviting us in to come and join the party and come and live in the fullness of God.

It is a soft whisper that is trying to recapture our hearts.

Created to be Gold

 

Created to be Gold.

This morning I was impressed by the words "YOU ARE GOLD". The picture I had was a free-flowing river with a bed of Gold underneath the crystal water. This of course was an impression of the River Pison, which watered and flowed from Eden (Genesis 2 :11) and the direct meaning of the name  "Pison" is"increase"'. It is in the finished work of Christ that we find our increase, from one degree of glory to another, we are made is be His Golden Treasure.

Created to be Part of the Story

Amidst the chaos that surrounds us in this world, we have been given by God the opportunity for liberation. This may surprise us, but it is totally natural for each of us to search in everything that is pushed at us to find the connection that our heart’s passion desires.  We are in fact searching for the very thing we were created for, we are looking for Eden. 

When we stop looking outside ourselves for something to make us feel better, safer, stronger, richer or happier and instead begin to open up to the whisper of the Holy Spirit which is guiding our hearts. It is this whisper that has the life-transforming ability to bring us into His perfection in every moment we experience. For this whisper invites us to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven and let it reign in our lives.

What we were created to desire was to be part of a story that is far greater and more magnificent than anything we could have imagined.

Created to be Heaven on Earth

In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul uses the most dramatic language to turn our lives upside down and focus our attention on the realization of the work of Christ taking place inside our hearts:- 

“that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—  to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3  : 17-19)

In these remarkable lines, we hear the anthem of heaven; we enter into the symphony of creation, and we listen to a song that is as vast as the universe itself. The love of the Father is His majestic heart now alive in the children He created.  

This prayer of Paul emphasizes to us that the goodness of God is the message that our hearts needed to hear, the devastating corruption of Adam’s sin had tainted our minds, but God, in Christ, has once and forever completely restored us into our Father’s loving embrace.

The love of God is a cosmic transforming power that has no end. Its breadth, height, depth, and length are far beyond the world’s comprehension. Creation groans for its manifestation, imploring the Sons of the Most High King to shine in the darkness. The universe holds its breath in expectation as we start to delight in the finished work of Christ.  

We are heavens conductor bringing the glory of the King to a dry stubble land.

 God created us to dance, enjoy, play, fellowship, chat, love, care, trust, dream, create, support, comfort, and explore. 

In Christ, you have entered into God’s Garden of Delight. 

We were made to delight in a wonderful loving fellowship, mutual sharing, and unhindered intimacy with God. 

Oppression, sadness, worry, laziness, strife, stress, and inadequacy, are all alien emotions to creation, Christ never intended that we should live a single second without the wonder of his embracing love. 

Now In Christ, we can experience the full realisation of God’s unconditional glorious love, which can flood our hearts with the eternal truth, and help us overflow with the joy that God made us to be loved.

"In Matthew 2, when the wise men came to King Herod to find out where Jesus was, Herod summoned the religious leaders who told him where the Messiah was to be born. However, when Jesus began His ministry, the religious leaders did not recognize Him as the Messiah, neither did they seek Him at the time of His birth. Our understanding and revelation of Scripture is always supposed to lead us deeper into relationship with and surrender to our Lord Jesus Christ. The Christmas story is one we should never become familiar with, or limit to a certain time of year. When Jesus came and took on flesh, He redefined our purpose and restored us to Himself. Let your heart become increasingly aware of what He has done for you - let it be personal. As you ponder these things in your heart, may you be drawn to worship Him in complete surrender and awe."

Created To Be Part Of Christ

You were created to be part of Christ, you were designed to be a living stone in the temple of God, and you were designed to shine with the presence of God.  

Let your words be a sweet fragrance to the world, your life a pleasant aroma. 

Be the words of Christ and the demonstration of his love. 

Let his delight in you fire the passion of your heart. 

Don’t become the obstacle that prevents others excelling in all God has given them, but encourage and lift up all those who need lifting up. 

Just be You

This might surprise you, but when you enter into Christ you can cease from all striving, you can relax, and you can just be you. 

In Christ, you do not have to try to have more faith because you already have His faith. You do not have to try to understand because you have been given the mind of Christ.

You can rest in the power that has been birthed in you and delight in the grace that flows inside you. 

You are God’s masterpiece, complete in Christ.

The Hidden Kingdom of the Heart

 Deep within every human being, there is a hidden Kingdom, a realm of abundant treasure, a garden of enriched, fertile soil. Where life can be generated, seeds can be cultivated, saplings can be nourished and beauty can be nurtured.

This hidden garden is called the heart. It is a place of mystery where hope is formed, seeds grow and mature and beliefs take hold and flourish. It is a garden birthed to feed you, build you up and establish your body, soul, and spirit into an overflowing expression of creation.

It is a unique place it cannot be defined by the mind for it goes beyond the intellect and logical thought. It is a garden of intimate desire, passionate longing, and endless delight.

And just as your physical heart is the core of your body so it is with your heart for within it is the core of your spirit and soul and what you believe in your heart has the power to bring you life or plunge you into death.

Life is a love affair with your heart.

And this is the place where the Holy Spirit works, the place where he draws us to him, the place where he whispers to us to "come", the place where he produces his fruit.

His invitation to us is to come into the garden with him and taste its finest fruits. To eat of the abundance of heaven and let the riches of the grace of God be cultivated in our hearts.

The whisper of the Holy Spirit is to come and be one with the passion and glory of heaven inside your innermost being, inside the depth of the core of your life.
