The craving

On my taste buds

For sweetness in my mouth

Tongue betrayed by succulent flavours

And deliciousness

of lingering herbs and sauces,

Raspberry coulis destroying all that came before.

Shall I absolve myself

With lemon mousse?

Then I smell

Chocolate

And afterwards

I am sorry.
