“In loving memory of Estelle Myres 1922-2009. Greatly missed by her family and friends who loved her dearly.”

For friendly people

Who walking their dogs

Stop and chat

And share the moment

Who beam with joy

Time for a Cake

Tired

Thirsty

In desperate need of a drink

Or cake

Refreshment

Somewhere to rest

Stop

Relax

Time to choose

All around

Loud voices

Laughing

Noisy ice-cream machine

Mother with pram

Children licking cones

Anyway

There’s a couple quietly drinking tea

In the corner

Time

To find a seat

Drink

Relax

(Saturday a visit to Hampden Park in Eastbourne is a great way to spend the afternoon.The Cafe is excellent with a great selection of Lizzie Food Factory Cakes especially the Lemon Crumble).
