Absorb The Truth

What you mediate on, you will do! Believe it or not but what you think on and what you imagine will eventually become your perspective of life. So listen to the whisper of Christ in your spirit, become aware of his voice, and cherish his presence. He is  talking to you all the time, through random conversations you overhear at the supermarket, through words of encouragement you read, by watching the clouds pass overhead, but most of all through bible verses you read or hear. Just take a few verses that really mean something and let them soak into your mind, imagination and emotions. The more of truth you absorb the more you will effortlessly exude.

You Have A Story

Looking for the big picture can mean missing the small individual parts and images that captivate God’s heart; life is a rich tapestry of little moments that can capture God’s love overflowing to you.  God is made complete in our uniqueness; for every believer is a vibrant temple of the Holy Spirit radiating his light into the darkness that constantly invades life. You have a gripping story to tell, don’t let anyone tell you differently.

God Loves The Little Things

God loves the little things.  He loves having breakfast with you, he loves walking the dog with you, he loves the crazy hat you wear, and he loves being stuck with you in the morning traffic. He enjoys sharing each moment, sparking life inside you, setting your heart alight with His delight. No matter how you feel, the circumstances surrounding your life, He is all ways whispering to you, loving you, caring for and setting your heart on fire.

You Are Amazing

You are amazing, you can do all things because Christ in you is there to strengthen and empower you. God in you can release you from all that is expected of you into all that is available to you. God is infinite, he has no boundaries, and he is limitless and overflows with brilliance. Take your focus off the ordinary, what is typical, what is expected of you and look into the eyes of Jesus. Do something different in Christ, take that step and walk on the water.

Dream His Dreams Of You

It delights God’s heart when we dream His dreams of us. He is captivated by our delight in Him. He is pleased when we enjoy all that Christ won for us at the cross. He dances when we take each small step of faith, when we grip his hand with a touch of trust.  Delight in Him, be captivated by Him and let the guilt go and dream His dreams of you.

Think Abundance

God has provided all we need to live in the abundance of His grace. Because of His work at the cross we now receive His reward as our inheritance. He has promised to supply all our needs, physical, emotional, spiritual and material, and this is a boundless provision of unmerited goodness. Because we have been given the treasure of heaven we can now give it away. Think abundance, not lack.

No One Can Put Limits On You

No one can put limits on you. The choice is yours.

We have been made free in Christ and we have been so from the first moment of new birth.
We just forget that and we become prisoners, held captive by our own perceptions.  Yes, we need to live in this world, but there are numerous ways we can enjoy the presence and power of God as we do. The depth of your intimacy with God relates to the choices you have made.

God has never put a revolver to your head and made you do anything. If you fell distant in your intimacy with God, it is not because God is withholding anything from you.

It is your choice to immerse yourself into the depths of God’s fountain of life.

It is your choice to dive into the flowing waters of the river of delights.

No one can do this for you.

God has placed inside of you the same power that raised Christ from the dead. God has united your spirit with His spirit and you have been grafted into the Tree of life. You have the infinite, limitless, creative God living inside of you.

Inside you is the opportunity to experience and walk in an exciting, extravagant future in Christ, but and it is a big but, the choice to live in this future lies within your heart.

Boundless Love

There is a story in the Bible of Jesus visiting the home of a man he had raised from the dead. One of the sisters in an act of selflessness took her most treasured and expensive perfume and poured it over the feet of Jesus.  And then with her hair wiped his feet clean.  The aroma of the perfume filled the house with a fragrance of gratitude and love.

One of the men in the room immediately objected to this extravagant display and speaking his mind he forcefully let everyone know of his displeasure with the act.  But knowing the motives of his heart, Jesus instructed that the infinite worth of love is far more precious that the measurable value of earthly possessions.

For God is boundless in his love to us.  Mary although she probably did not know it, demonstrated in this selfless act the true heart of God. A God that stoops down and loves his creation. An act of unlimited wealth as she poured out her most treasured possession. An act of self sacrifice that transcended logic, convention, dignity and worldly values.

For God desires us to break free of the patterns of the world and embrace his abundant life.

God is not limited by our imperfections; he is not confined by our world’s measurable resources. He is the infinite, boundless creator who has made his dwelling place inside every believer.

You are his image bearer to the world, the reflection of a boundless overflowing heart of grace, compassion and love.

I hear the voice of my beloved

For His love

He kindles
Each flame of love in my heart.

Discover Love

We all need to discover love.

To be free in all Christ has provided for us, we need to experience his love.

Jesus constantly talked about love, in fact he summed up everything in one sentence, “Love God with all your heart and love your neighbour as yourself.” But within this simple statement lies the trap of legalism, “What do I have to do, to make God love me more?”

The answer of course is nothing, for the infinite truth of love is that Jesus did not die to make God love sinners, for God always did love them.

God is love, God is compassion, and he is an everlasting river of power devoted to us with a passion to awaken us to all Christ abundantly gave each of us at the cross.

God' s love is higher, deeper, fuller, holier, more powerful than we could ever hope or imagine and this love dwells in our hearts.

He took our broken and alienated existence and lifted us up to his exalted position. Grace overflowed into the dust and brought us into a place of blessing and plenty.

God desires us, we have captivated his heart. He has set his seal of approval on our lives; he has positioned us at his right hand and adopted us into his family.

To discover love is to awaken our hearts to all God has placed inside us. To open the treasure vaults of love within our hearts and revel in its riches.

He is our source of love and the vast, infinite well of love inside every believer is an overflowing stream of his acceptance and pleasure.

God Is A Fountain Of Abundance

The secret to living in the fullness of God’s grace is to first realise that God is a fountain of abundance. If you associate grace with just carrying on as you are, then you will look at life from a different perspective to the one God created for you. But if you stop and look through God’s eyes and his loving heart, everything begins to change.

The reality is that God is rich and he has an abundance of treasure.  This verse in 2 Corinthians 8:9 “God is able to make all grace, every favour and earthly blessing come to you in abundance, “is a fantastic affirmation of the overflowing heart of God to his children.

God has provided all we will ever need to live each day in an abundant wonderful and intimate relationship. We can take full advantage of living out our eternal life right now.

God’s loving heart was intended to overflow into all his creation. We are his special delight and Christ’s finished work has overflowed into each of us when we are united with his spirit.

God’s desire was that we would neither lack anything nor be poor, all heaven cries out for us to possess the land that flows with milk and honey, to eat of the lavish fruit and to graze in the fertile, lush green pastures.

To flourish in the land God has provided for us, is to enjoy the abundance of every blessing bestowed on us.

Carrying on just as you are is a lost opportunity to enjoy the rich delight of daily feasting on the banqueting table of heaven.  Christ gave up the riches of heaven; he entered into this world of dust and ashes to ransom you from the poverty of separation.  His motivation was love, his expression was kindness, and his gift was grace.

Creation Shouts God's Grace

Since the beginning of time, God has consistently demonstrated his heart through his interaction with his creation.

Everything in creation shouts out that he is rich in love, he is abundant in goodness, he is good to all, he has compassion on all he has made, he is faithful to all his promises, he is trustworthy in all he does, he upholds all who fall, lifts up all those who are bowed down, he satisfies the desire of every living thing, and that he is righteous in all his ways and he is near to all who call on him.

Life starts to finally make sense when the revelation of the true nature of God is shared. His two-way communion with his creation has been the desire and overflow of his heart.  The deep bond from the very first heart beat with man was an intimate relationship that connected creation into God’s existence.

God is always consistently and faithfully good, gracious and full of love. In a world full of cynicism, disappointment, clouded truth and manipulation, his desire is to bless, give and to be the source of all we do.  It is when these  attributes of God drop deep with our mind, our souls, our beings, I believe our outlook and life has an expectation and a flourishing certainty of the unconditional grace of God.

The important thing is that God shows his nature by doing good things for us and blessing us. He does this to us without distinctions, or anything required from us. No effort, no works, no levels of goodness, no qualification to obtain God’s blessings.

Grace is freely given, he loves us unconditionally, and His heart is to shower us with the fullness of heaven.

The image in my mind is formed by my perspective of God. When I bask in his nature of goodness, graciousness and love he effortlessly works his grace into my heart.

Joy

I love joy. I love the delight I experience in my soul when I encounter the glory of God.  I love soaking in the intimate presence of the measureless depths of unutterable love. For in those depths I find the pearl of joy.  When my heart is taken up with delight in Christ, an intensity of love streams into me and I experience the glory of God that is in my innermost being.  Love is the indulgence of my heart because it is the essence of who God is and therefore is the essence of who I am. In the simple act of resting in all Christ has placed into me, of awakening my heart to Christ inside me, Love has the most profound impact; it delights my heart and fills me with joy.
