Remembering - Margaret Thatcher

"He left His Father’s throne above,
So free, so infinite His grace;
Emptied Himself of all but love,
And bled for Adam’s helpless race:
’Tis mercy all, immense and free;
For, O my God, it found out me."

 By Charles Wesley

"" I shall know why, when time is over,
And I have ceased to wonder why;
Christ will explain each separate anguish
In the fair schoolroom of the sky.

He will tell me what Peter promised,
And I, for wonder at his woe,
I shall forget the drop of anguish
That scalds me now, that scalds me now"

.By Emily Dickinson

“Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.”
- Sir Winston Churchill.

“For He the price has paid, to bring us to this place,
That we might share His glory, look upon His face.

Atonement, at one with God, hidden in His love,
This is God great gift to man, sent from heaven above.”

By Dave Thorpe

  1. an interesting way to reflect on her...it has been intriguing to see some the way people think on her in light of her passing..have read quite a few the last couple days...

  2. Whatever one thinks of her politics, she was raised a Methodist and kept to her belief in Christ all her life. I thought the Charles Wesley verse summed it all up - "Tis mercy all, immense and free;
    For, O my God, it found out me."
