2022 a Year to Come Closer. - Part 3
SWIRLING LEAVES
In September 2021 I was asking God about a friend’s situation when I felt God gave me a world, which I think is still prophetic for where we are today. I saw a picture of a park, with leaves shedding their red rust-coloured leaves on the paths. Then a wind started to blow and the leaves that covered the ground started to rise up and blow and dance on the wind. Soon it was difficult to see anything but the wall of rust-coloured leaves dancing on the wind. The air was filled with swirling leaves.
I believe we are in a world filled with swirling leaves of uncertainty. Nothing is stable and this will continue in 2022. Like leaves dancing on the wind, we will be continually blown by the storms of the world and just as it settles down, suddenly it will start up again. 2022 will be a time also of sudden happenings. God will move suddenly to bring the truth and victory of the Holy Spirit into countless situations, but the enemy will work to bring sudden events that will cause fear and anxiety to spread. Gods call to us is to come close, so we can hear his voice and discern these sudden events.
BREAK OPEN THE SEALS
Against this atmosphere of swirling leaves and events, God has sent an invitation to the people of God to ‘BREAK OPEN THE SEALS!” God is saying, Break open the seals, and see my written oath and declaration that I will never leave you, that my resurrection power is within you and that I am able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you could ask or think according to the power that works within you.” The invitation is to come closer to God and break open the seals. The seal is a song of my awakening within you. For this is the season of singing and blossoming flowers.
BLOSSOMING FLOWERS
The promise of God to us in 2022 is blossoming flowers within our hearts. It is not of dead leaves causing a wall of anxiety, but a season of blossom. As a garden blossoming God wants us to flourish in the centre of our lives, within the depths of our hearts. Uncertainty and fear are the weeds of the world, Love and grace our the flowers of God. 2022 will be a time to stand in the promises of God, and let his work develop and flourish in our hearts.
