All our lives
We rise from our slumber
Run through the streets
Chasing and striving
Following the silhouettes
Into the dawn
We search for connection
Down well trodden paths
Fleeing the night
For secret assurance
And inner peace.
In the courts of our heart
Deep hidden chambers
The lover waits
With words of affection
And overwhelming grace
Love kisses our night
