Take A Few Minutes Out

Take a few minutes out each day, and give yourself a quick holiday. Just drift and do something out of the ordinary. Walk down the path and kick some leaves. Take a different route to work. Put your phone down and read a magazine or read a chapter of a book. Have a biscuit with your coffee. Turn off the TV and get out those old photo albums. Close your eyes and breathe deep and connect with Christ, living and whispering inside you.

Life is there to be enjoyed, God is there to be delighted in, Christ is inside you overflowing with love.

Christ Of The Unexpected

Christ in you does the opposite of the expected. He is the way, the truth and the life. The world bombards everyone with opinions and ideas that it will pass of as facts. People are fed myths, promises, legends and we are indoctrinated with the clever manipulation of the media. Sometimes we never start to question the information we are fed. Christ saw the world through God’s eyes, where everyone had value, everyone was loved, everyone was cherished, created for pleasure, he saw forgiveness in the heart of the guilty.

Christ in you sees value in all of creation.

Expose Yourself

Expose yourself to the shining beauty of Christ that lights up heaven. Let yourself go, empty yourself of all your preconceptions. Let go of all those feelings of separation, anxiety, fear, pain and hurt. You were created to delight in the pleasure of God’s heart. In your new creation spirit you are totally clean, totally united with Christ, totally free. Give yourself to the wild wonder of living life with the creator of the universe. Just trust him, trust his love and enjoy the adventure of grace.

Fill Your Senses

God created you with emotions and senses. Creation is a garden of pleasure, overflowing with abundance ready for you to enjoy. All around you are fragrances to indulge in, beauty for you to revel in and surfaces for you to touch. Taste the rain, let the breeze kiss your face; listen to the wind rustling through the trees. The flavour of God’s grace is the delight of God’s pleasure, and he delights when you delight in him.

God Is At Work All Around Us

God is at work all around us. He is whispering to us his dreams, plans and directions and sometimes this is evident in the everyday random conversations we hear. Sometimes we need to take the longer, slower queue at the Supermarket checkout. Take that extra time to observe the wonder of living, as people in all their unique brilliance, make the most of life. Listen, watch, understand and pray a blessing over them. They are God’s beloved, his cherished creation and his desire is to see every one of us overflowing with his love, power and grace.

Stop, Breathe and Listen

Stop, breathe and listen to God. Take time out, turn off that phone. We are surrounded by distractions, updates, messages, gadgets that mesmerise our minds and play with our hearts. The update we need is the loving assurance of our Father, His soft whisper of commitment in our hearts. If we are to be mesmerized let it be by the cross and His wonderful, abundant love. Let go of the distractions, explore new places, discover the depths of God’s love, soar in the heights of God’s grace, connect with Christ, connect with your spirit and stop, breathe and listen to God.

Every Day

Every day is a new opportunity to experience the wonderful treasure of Christ. You are the child God always wanted, the child God dreamed of before time was created, the child of His heart’s desire. He wants to celebrate His glorious grace and favour through you, He wants you to shine His love and kindness into the darkness. He wants to heal the broken hearted through you; He wants to set the captive free through you.  In Christ you are blessed with every spiritual blessing, filled with power, and you are a well of refreshing living water.

Talk To Christ

You can talk to Christ every minute of every day, he is not a stranger. He knows exactly what you have been through, where you are and He is the power that dwells within your heart. Every place you visit, He visits with you, every situation you face, He faces it with you. He feels your emotions. He knows your thoughts, He believes in you and His promise to you is that He will never leave you. You have the perfect faith of Christ living in your heart.

God wants you to go exploring. His desire is for you to be unleashed into the dreams He has for you. The treasures of your inheritance are limitless. His love for you is boundless, beyond all you could ever think. He want you to explore all the infinite wonder of His grace, His delight is for you to release your imagination into the realm of endless possibilities in Christ. Dream, believe, immerse yourself in His promises, be overwhelmed by his power, and let the life of Christ within your heart, overflow into every moment of your life.

Lose Yourself In Joy

Lose yourself in the abundant joy of his love for you. Let you heart overflow with the love He has for you. Christ rejoices over the new creation completeness of His work in you. Christ rejoices over the fact that you are righteous, blameless, and spotless, without reproach, flawless, faultless, holy, pure and clean. Christ rejoices that you are accepted, loved, adored, right, and compatible with him in every way, at peace with him, His joy, in harmony with him. Forget people’s opinions, take your eyes off opinions and fix them onto Christ. He adores you, enjoy His love for you.

Flourish In All Good Things

You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. There will always be things before you that will scare and intimidate you. There will be people who are more interesting than you, have that extra ingredient of charisma. However, the same God who created the universe lives inside you, He loves you, He is completely with you. When you feel small, inadequate, stop and see yourself In Christ, loved, held, and embraced, the joy of his heart. And dream those dreams God has for you, plans to see you flourish in all good things.

Let God Love You

Let yourself be loved by God. It is one thing to know that God loves but it is an entirely different thing to LET God love you. Let his love for you make you go weak at the knees. He adores you; He rejoices over you, you are the desire of His heart. He chose to live in you, to be bonded with you and melded with you. God loves the unique person you are. Listen to his words of love, read His letters of love, let you heart be captivated by His heart of love for you. Let go and let yourself be loved.

God knows the plans he has for you and they are good, healthy, fulfilling and exciting. Don’t let yourself get into a mind of a wishful tomorrow. For TODAY, is the day of salvation in Christ. God believes that you can reach any goal and fulfil all your dreams and desires in Christ, but the first step we take is today. Trust Him, take the small steps he gives you, walk with Him into the plans he has for you.  God is totally committed to you, He united you into the life of His son and you are a Son of God. Take the first step, today.

Say YES To God

Say YES to God. God will never let you down; He is always there for you. He believes in you, He always sees the best in you. He sees what is in us and He likes what He sees. Be ready for anything, be ready to hear that quiet whisper, listen to the prompting of the Spirit. God loves you; He has fallen in love with you and everything that you are.  He wants to be involved in every chore, every task, He is there to guide you, lead you, help you and strengthen you. Just say YES to God.

The truth will set you free.  What others think of you should never limit your dreams. In Christ you have been given a limitless wealth of possibilities. So let you mind wander and set your imagination free, God gives you permission to dream. Let the delight and passion of His heart permeate, soak, flood and overflow into your innermost being.  You were created for His pleasure, to enjoy His pleasure and to live a life of abundance. Today, it may not feel like it, it may seem far away, but look into the truth of all Christ has made you to be and take small, little steps into seeing yourself as He sees you.  You are a perfect, radiant, complete child of the almighty, glorious God.
