Scenes From The Park - On A Bench

Entrenched on a bench
Endless chatter
Engaging the world
Everything matters
Enlightening hearts
Enclosed in time
Enriched with love
Eternally mine
Even the seagulls
Earnestly circle
Ever wanting to enter
Escape the cruel world.
Engaging the heart
Enriching their talk
Entrenched on a bench
Eventually they walk.

Scenes From The Park - A Moment

A chance to clear the mind
A moment

A towel in the sun
Surrounded by screams
Of happy children.

A calling of a name
Smiling besides the fountain
She is immersed

A hundred questions

Take my phone
A few moments to text
To answer a question

Run to the waterfall
Drink of the water

A chance to feel renewed.

Scenes From The Park - Tag Team

 Got to hide
Slowly
“Catch him”
“Careful”

We’re a tag team
“He’s yours!”
“No, he’s mine!”
Fast as you can
Run
Run away
Don’t get caught
“Safe!”

Follow the scream
Dodge the water
Put your head under the fountain
Feel the cold
Taste
Be refreshed
Feel alive.

On Our Wedding Anniversary

I love you

The pale meadow of your skin
Your sparkling emerald eyes

Those lips that taste of heaven

I love you

The bright glade of your smile
Your shining ruby soul

This heart that beats with compassion

I love you

The colour of care
Singing the stories of sacrifice
Songs of lost dreams

I love you

This field of faithfulness
Where all you’ve done is sown in care

Smiles of hope
Prophetic tears
Enduring joy

Frequently, in everyday words of love

I love you.

Friday's Five - Reconciliation

And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. – Romans 5:11

That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. – 2 Corinthians 5:19

And that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity – Ephesians 2:16

And by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. – Colossians 1:20

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. – Hebrews 2:17

In The Woods

Well worn paths
Through shaded glens
A cathedral of branches
Altar of leaves
Windows of green
Hidden chancels of dreams
Lost in paradise

Sweet the wind that chills
Dance with the breeze
A psalm of tenderness
Streams a symphony of praise
Darkness resistant
With a orchestra of hope
Adorned in a glorious light

From A Park Bench - As You Received Christ so Walk in Him.

In Colossians 2:6 "Paul says just as you received Christ so walk in Him. Or the NIV says just as you received Christ, "live in Him"!

We all want to feel connected and in total harmony. There is nothing better that when we are in tune and everything is right. Sometimes it is our employment, that feeling of having a great day at work, when we achieve every thing we set out to do. Sometimes it is at home, when the kids are just compliant and there is no stress at home. Sometimes it is taking the time out, sitting on a park bench, connecting with nature and soaking in the surroundings. For all of us there are moments and instances when things just all make sense.

The Gospel is about being connected; it is about being in total, fulfilled harmony with God. It is about having right standing with God and that is what righteousness is it is that every second of every moment of every day we are wonderfully right with God.

Through the grace of God we are safe, secure, assured and confident with God and God wants us to be grounded and rooted in the grace of God.

Just as we received Christ through grace we walk in Christ through grace.

God desires to establish us deeper and deeper in the revelation of the free gift given to us of His righteousness so that we identify with Him in every area of our lives and we see that ever increasing fruit results from resting in the free gift of his righteousness.

Don’t go back under the law trying to be right with God through your actions or your obedience. The deception is that once we received Christ by grace, we have to maintain our relationship by effort. No, you received Christ by grace through faith, God declared you righteous as a free gift by grace. So just as you received Christ so walk in Him and live in Him.

We reign in life because we have been united with Christ by grace.

We are constantly righteous and holy there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God.

We merit all the blessings that Jesus merits because we are a joint heir with Christ and an heir of God. Therefore we are always the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Grace Notes - Luke 11 v 38

"And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner." -  Luke 11:38 -
The New Covenant is a covenant of rest; it is living and acting from our place in Christ.

Everything we need has been provided by God, through grace. God anticipated all our needs; he acted independently of us, before we were born. We cannot move God to do anything, because he has already done everything we need through Christ. In Christ we have received every spiritual blessing we will ever need or desire.

How we perceive God and what he has provided for us by grace is faith. All we need has been given to us we just activate it into reality from the spirit realm by believing and receiving.
Good works, doing the right things, trying to make God to move by our acts, is all self-righteousness and is rooted in unbelief.

Saying thank you and resting in all Christ has freely given by grace is the essence of faith and walking in the spirit.
Andrew Wommack explains that grace is the key to the Christian life and believing that God has already done everything through Christ.

“A sure sign of the error of legalism is misplaced priorities, as we see here with these Pharisees. It is not recorded in Scripture that the Pharisees marveled at the wonderful works of Jesus. They were too busy looking for something to criticize (Mark 3:2). But they marveled at Jesus not washing His hands. This is a classic example of straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel (Mt. 23:24).
Those who seek to earn righteousness through keeping the Law are consumed with "doing," while those who receive righteousness by faith are simply confessing what has already been done. This is a simple and yet profound difference. If we are still "doing" acts of holiness to get God to move in our lives, then we are still operating under a "Law" mentality that is not faith (Gal. 3:12). When we simply believe and confess what has already been provided through Christ, that's grace.

A person who is living under the Law and a person who lives under grace should have very similar actions of holiness, but their motivations are completely opposite. The legalist has their attention on what they must do, while the person living by faith has his attention on what Christ has already done for him. For instance, the Scriptures teach us to confess with our mouths and believe with our hearts, and we will receive from God. The legalist thinks, That means I can get God to heal me by confessing, 'By his stripes I am healed.'

However, the person who understands God's grace will not confess the Word to get healed. They will confess, "By His stripes I am healed" because they really believe it has already been done.

Analyzing our "mind set" is the simplest way of discerning whether we are operating in true Bible faith or a legalistic counterfeit. If the motive for our actions is to be accepted with God, that's legalism. If we live wholly out of faith and gratefulness for what God has already done, that's grace. Grow in grace!”

Every Day

I breathe
My heart beats
Blood flows through my veins

The wind bites my face
The sun warms my skin
The rain covers me in coldness

I feel the same pain
I cry the same tears
I am trapped by the cruel knife of time

 Equality is not a concept
It is not a theory
Or a social action

It is the way you look at each other
The way you value each other
The way you accept each other
The way you listen to each other

Celebrate who you are
Dance with the divine
Listen to the melody of freedom
Taste the acceptance of love

Every day is a day to embrace who you are
Every day is a day to learn
To listen
To change.

Friday's Five - Peace

Better a dry crust eaten in peace than a house filled with feasting—and conflict. – Proverbs 17:1
You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. – Isaiah 26:3
I will make a covenant of peace with my people and drive away the dangerous animals from the land. Then they will be able to camp safely in the wildest places and sleep in the woods without fear – Ezekiel 34:25
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. – Romans 5:1
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:7

From A Park Bench - Here I Am. Send Me.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”   Isaiah 6:8
A few nights ago my wife and I were talking about Gideon and how God spoke and called him in an audible voice. There was Gideon threshing wheat in the winepress, hiding from the Midianites when the Angel of the Lord sat beside him and started to talk to him.
In the passage above from Isaiah we have the prophet given a vision of heaven and God commissioning him in an audible voice.
Both Gideon and Isaiah lived in a time when God was separated from his people. God dwelt in heaven and man dwelt on Earth. The Old Covenant was a covenant of separation, the veil separated God’s presence from the Children of the promise in the temple.  God called out his people to be holy, to separate themselves from the nations around them; God spoke audibly because he was separated from man.
The New Covenant is a covenant of union. God now dwells inside every believer, each of us are now in total and full union with Christ.
God does not have to ask ‘Who will I send?” because where his children go, He goes there with them.
Every second, in every mundane task, in every act of kindness, God is involved, living and acting through us by His grace.
If we are praying and waiting for God to do something for us, we will be waiting a very long, long time. God, by grace, has provided all we need and He has anticipated our every need.
We are His body, our touch to the lost is his touch, our outstretched hand to the hurting is his hand, and our listening ear to the lonely is his ear. When we connect to those around us, we are Christ to them.
We don’t need to be commissioned by God, every breath taken is God living and working through us.

Jesus - Our Refuge & Rest by Joseph Prince

God does not want you to live a "striving" life or a "trying" life.
The reason many of us strive and try to make things happen in our own strength, is because we believe that what we do will earn us acceptance from others and also with God.
Today, I want to tell you how you can break out of that wrong belief and find yourself in a place of rest, provision, fulfillment and abundance.
If you can hear and act on what
I'm about to share with you today,
your life will bear great fruit.
I want you to know that rest and wholeness are available to you through your High Priest, Jesus.
In the Old Testament, the high priest represented the people to God. And all the standing of the nation of Israel was wrapped up in the high priest. If the high priest was good, God blessed the nation. If the high priest was bad, God rejected the whole nation.
But now the Bible says that Jesus is our High Priest...forever.
That means you can have permanent eternal security in your heart because your standing is wrapped up in your High Priest. When you behold Him, you receive everything He has to offer.
Today Jesus is your High Priest! That means that God is not looking at you to judge you. God is looking at your High Priest to bless you.
Beloved, this is why we must behold Jesus. Second Corinthians 3:18 says...
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as
in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being
transformed into the same image from glory
to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Here's where it gets practical for you and me:
If God judged us based on ourselves, there would be no rest—there would be no peace. As long as God's blessings depend on us and our obedience, we are never at rest. But when His blessings depend on the finished work of Jesus Christ—the infallible, sinless, altogether lovely One—we can be eternally secure and at rest!
Something powerful happens when you see Jesus...
The Bible says that as you are beholding His glory, you are being transformed into the same image. Not by your efforts, but by the Spirit of the Lord!
When you behold Jesus, you become like Him.
The Lord makes it very simple for us: as we behold, the Holy Spirit transforms us...
From depression to peace.
From heaviness to joy.
From poverty to abundance.
From being sickly to being healthy and robust.
From striving to rest.
You cannot transform yourself by your own efforts. But you can enter into a rest where you allow the Holy Spirit to do His work. By turning your eyes and your attention toward Jesus, you open the door for these things to manifest in your everyday life!
Beloved, as long as you keep your eyes on Jesus, there is nothing to fear. You can rest in His security, His blessing and His supernatural work in your life.
It’s never about focusing on self...
it’s always about focusing on Jesus.
It’s not a question of whether you deserve God’s blessings—it’s a question of whether your High Priest deserves every blessing. It’s not a question of how pleasing you are in God’s eyes—it’s a question of how pleasing your High Priest is in God’s eyes.
Jesus Christ is your perfect High Priest, and since He is perfectly pleasing to God, SO ARE YOU!
That’s why the Bible says:
Love has been perfected among us in this:
that we may have boldness in the day of judgment;
because as He is, so are we in this world.
 (1 John 4:17)
What a powerful, life-changing truth: As Jesus is, so are we in this world!
Friend, whatever you are faced with right now, whether it’s a financial struggle, a negative diagnosis, a difficult decision, a relationship issue or anything else in your life, all you need to do is look to Jesus.
You don’t have to be anxious or afraid, and you don’t have to fix it all in your own strength. Just put your eyes on Jesus and remember that as Jesus is, so are you. He is healthy...you can receive health. He is wise...you can receive wisdom. He is accepted and approved...you can receive the Father’s acceptance and approval.

Remember, God is not looking at you to judge you. He is looking at your High Priest, Jesus, to bless you. Fix your eyes on Jesus and rest in that promise today.
You don’t have to lead a "striving" life or a "trying" life any longer. The Lord wants you to live the blessed life, the abundant life...the restful life in Him.

Living at rest,

From A Park Bench - The Kingdom of God is Within

To want all that God wants, always to want it, for all occasions and without reservations, this is the kingdom of God which is all within – Francois Fenelon.
When we give ourselves to live from our union with Christ instead of our mind, emotion, intellect or bodies, we start to let God invade and dominate every aspect of our life.
To know what God wants, is to know who we are In Christ, to know all he has provided by grace and to be his ambassador to everyone we meet.
We have entered the Promised Land, our re-born spirit is overflowing with the grace of God and all that Christ provided at the cross. We have a fountain overflowing with good things, a land of milk and honey, an inhabitation of abundant provision on the inside of us.
The world and the flesh try to tell us that we have not received all God’s provision. They tell us to look at our carnal experience, to judge everything by our five senses, to doubt, to strive, to question, to explain everything away in what we experience.
But God sees things differently; it is his breath that breathes life into our bodies, it is his blood that obtained our forgiveness, by his stripes we were healed and the power that raised Christ from the dead lives inside of us.
His word, the bible, is his love letter to us, our spiritual mirror, it shows us who we are and what we have been given. He shows us all God’s promises and all that grace has given us.
As we receive his grace, believe the truth and let his spirit invade our soul and bodies, we are transformed effortlessly into his likeness.
The Kingdom of God has come and is within every believer, each of us has all the grace and fullness of Christ inside.

Grace Notes - Luke 11 v 11

"If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?" - LUKE 11:11

God is always good to us, his children.  We often look at our rebellious, independent, headstrong attitude and think that God must be disappointed with us when we decide to do things our own way. But God’s love for us is unconditional, there is nothing we can do to make him love us any less and there is nothing we can do to make us love him more.

We are His delight; he created us to enjoy a wonderful, abundant life in intimate union with him. It is his desire that we accept His grace and enjoy eternal life with him.

When we sin we do not separate ourselves from Him or his presence.  All our sin was dealt with before we were born at the cross. All our sin is eternally forgiven. The only thing that separates us from enjoying God is our unbelief, in his sacrifice and our unbelief in all that he has provided.
God loves us; he wants us to enjoy all the riches and glory of heaven, in a relationship with him.

Andrew Wommack explains nothing can compare to the love of the Father towards us.
The most loving Father in the world cannot compare to our heavenly Father and the love He has for us. And yet, many times, we find it easier to believe in the willingness of a father or mother or mate to help us than in the willingness of God to use His power on our behalf. Relatively few people really doubt God's ability, but rather, it is our doubt of His willingness to use His ability on our behalf that causes most people to do without. Jesus is assuring us that God's love, and His willingness to demonstrate that love, is far greater than we can ever experience in any human relationship.

The Lord didn't just save us out of pity or a sense of obligation as our Creator. He saved us because He loved us (John 3:16). It was the "good pleasure of his will" for us to become adopted sons (Eph.1:5). We are wanted and accepted by our Father! What a wonderful thing this is! It would have been more than any of us deserve to be forgiven by God. Then to be given certain rights and privileges would have been more than we could have expected. But the Lord went further than that. He has actually accepted us.
The dictionary defines "accept" as "1. to receive gladly; 2. to receive into a place or a group" (New American Heritage Dictionary). The Lord does not just tolerate us; He actually loves us. He even likes us. He rejoices over us with joy (Zeph. 3:17).

Friday's Five - Come

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” – Matthew 11 v 28

So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. – Matthew 14 v 29

And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” – Matthew 8 v 7

“But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” – Matthew 9 v 13

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” – Matthew 16 v 24-25.

From A Park Bench - Walk On The Water

So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. – Matthew 14 v 29

How many words from God does it take to see the miraculous?

In the history of man, there have only been two instances of walking on water. These instances are recorded in Mathew 14, the first was Jesus and the second was Peter.

Eleven other disciples were in the same boat, on the lake as this event unfolded. But it was only Peter who would venture out of the security of the boat and walked towards Jesus on the water.

He asked Jesus to bid him come and Jesus replied with one word, “Come.” All it took for Peter was his acceptance and faith in the word spoken by Jesus.

Faith is our positive response to all God has provided by grace. Faith does not move God, faith is us moving to receive all God has provided.

Peter’s positive response was to get out of the boat and to walk on the water.

The Bible contains all the promises of God provided for us by grace, everything we need. All the blessings of God have been given to us by His unmerited favor.

Feasting, digesting, savoring, enjoying, meditating on these promises opens our mind to what is all ready ours in our spirit.

With one word of Jesus, received and believed we can overflow with all the treasures and benefits of our union with Christ.

Jesus bids us come, come into the fullness of His finished work, Come into the inherited riches of God, come into the abundant storehouse of heaven.

Our response to his word should be positive, it should be yes.

God, by grace

God, by grace, has already provided everything for me before I ever needed it.

God, by grace, has made provision and paid for every person’s sins.

God, by grace, has already provided healing for everyone.

God, by grace, has already done everything. He anticipated every need that I could ever have, and He already met all those needs through Jesus Christ.

God, by grace, has already provided salvation for the whole world. But you have to put faith in God’s grace to see this salvation to come to pass.

God, by grace, gives us giftings, talents and abilities that are completely independent of anything we deserve.

God, by grace, has anticipated the needs of the entire human race as well as every one of us individually.

God, by grace, commended His love towards us. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God, by grace, loved me before I believed. God’s love for me is unconditional. It’s unending and unchanging. Since I did nothing to cause God to love me, I can’t do anything to cause Him not to love me.

God, by grace, has already provided forgiveness of sins, healing, deliverance, joy and peace. Everything has been accomplished by the grace of God.

God, by grace, has placed inside of me the same power that raised Christ from the dead.

God, by grace, has seated me in heavenly places in Christ and has given me every spiritual blessing in Him.

God, by grace has already done everything He’ll do. Through Christ’s atonement, He’s already provided everything I’ll ever need. God has already moved. He’s already saved and healed me.

God, by grace, has placed revival on the inside of me.

God, by grace, has already provided everything; He has provided everything for me. He has provided everything I need.

From A Park Bench - Every Act of Kindness

Every act of kindness and compassion done by man for his fellow Christian is done by Christ working within him – Julian of Norwich.
The mystery of the Kingdom is that God in his fullness is now united and interwoven into the spirit of every believer. We are not distant from God, we are never alone, and we are continually in relationship with Christ, in us.
As we let our united spirit dominate our mind and emotion, we are transformed, bit by bit into the likeness of Christ, or put another way, changed from one degree of glory into a greater degree of glory.
The fruit of the spirit is there inside every believer, placed into our spirit by God’s free unmerited favor. All acts of kindness come from our spirit by and through grace.
Christ lives in us and works through us.
Whether it is making the children’s lunch, cleaning the bathroom, giving a lift to a neighbor, posting a letter, letting the car out in front in the traffic cue. Our union with Christ is so real, so interwoven that it permeates into every action of kindness that we take.
Everything grows and flourishes out of our union with Christ.
Letting ourselves identify with who we are in Christ, is the most important and life changing choice we can make, we are not just human, we have the power and life of Christ working inside.
Just let Christ work in your life, mediate on his goodness, fill your mind with his truth, and be immersed in his grace,

Grace Notes - Luke 10:5

Luke 10:5 - "And into whatsoever house you enter, first say, Peace be to this house."
Christ, in His fullness is united with us in our spirit.  Our bodies are now home to the Holy Spirit and all the fruit of the Spirit. God’s peace dwells within us and is with us independent of our experience or emotions.
Problems, difficulties, tribulations and troubles often besiege us, assailing our minds and bodies.  All the time we should let our spirit dominate our mind and body. As we let the overflow of grace overwhelm us we soak ourselves in the union we have with Christ, we connect with the peace of God that we all ready possess.
Meditating on the goodness of God, focusing on our identity with Christ, reveling in the free grace provided, letting scriptures dominate our memories all these things bring us into a place where we fall into all the provision of God.
None of this is by our works or self-effort but by the overflow of the spirit in our hearts that we respond to. Every moment we tune ourselves into the spirit we find that effortlessly we live out of grace
Andrew Wommack explains that we all ready have the peace of God in us, so we should cast our cares upon God and not carry them:-
Peace is the result of casting our care upon the Lord through prayer and thanksgiving. However, many people are asking God to give them peace so that their cares will leave. It doesn't work that way. Through faith we cast our cares on the Lord, and then God's peace comes. Christians who are lacking God's peace have not taken their cares to the Lord and left them there. All Christians have peace. It is a fruit of the Spirit that is always present in our born-again spirits. Cares will blind us to God's peace. When we eliminate the cares, peace flows.
Being carnally minded doesn't just tend toward death, it is death. Likewise, being spiritually minded doesn't just tend toward life, it is life and peace. A person who says he or she is spiritually minded and yet is experiencing death is deceived. If we would just dominate ourselves with the spiritual truths of God's Word, we would receive only life and peace.
True peace, which comes from God, only comes by grace through faith. No one who seeks to obtain right standing with God by his own effort will ever have God's peace. Human peace is only experienced in the absence of problems. Those who only know human peace don't experience it very often and to a lesser degree. But God's peace is independent of circumstances and infinitely greater in supply than any problem we could ever have. God has given us His supernatural peace to enjoy. What a blessing!

Hidden in me
Took my sin
Set me free
Not by works

Friday's Five - Thoughts

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind – Romans 12:2

Set your minds on things above, not on earthy things – Colossians 3:2

Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. – Philippians 4:8

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he – Proverbs 23:7

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You – Isaiah 26:3

Psalm 28:7

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.

From A Park Bench - My Sinful Nature Died.

There is always the hope in the back of my mind when I am digging in my garden that I might just uncover a valuable ancient coin. One of those few Roman coins that experts had been searching for for years and I would be the gardener to discover it. To be honest, you never know what you are going to find as everything buried is covered in soil.

I was brought up in the great Christian tradition that I was just like this buried treasure. I was told that I was a sinner saved by grace. That I was forgiven of my sins but I was still a corrupt sinner who had to spend his life struggling to overcome my sinful nature. This thinking made me sin conscious and I felt constantly condemned and guilty.

One day I realized that the root cause of my life of condemnation was the way I saw myself. Because I saw myself as a sinner saved by grace but still a sinner I acted that way. I needed to see myself as Christ saw me, righteous, holy and united with Him.

My old sinful man died at the cross with Christ and when he was raised I was raised with him into new life. My spirit is interwoven with Christ, and I am no longer just human I am in my spirit a new creation, identical to Christ.

My old sinful nature that drove and compelled me toward sin is dead. It does not exist.

God by his grace has freely given me all things in Christ and as I mediate rest, soak, wallow and enjoy his unmerited favor and live in the spirit, I renew my mind and see myself the way God sees me, as his beloved son.

Bygone Times - Moulinex Carving Knife

Moulinex Electric Carving Knife

For those of us that grew up in the 1970’s the Moulinex Electric Carving Knife holds a special place. It was the preferred choice of any man that wanted to carve the Sunday roast. My father loved his carving knife and he used it regularly.
When he died I inherited the knife and now it sits happily in the cupboard ready for those special occasions, like Christmas and Easter when I need it to carve.

Quick, safe, easy to clean I can see why my Dad was so found of it.

Every time I use I get this feeling I am turning into my Dad, nice memories but very scary.

Tuesday's Track - I Am Yours by Darlene Zschech

This is an amazing, grace filled, Christ centered song, from the brilliant album Revealing Jesus by Darlene Zschech.

The overflowing grace of God is revealed in our lives through our interwoven spirit in Christ.

God is a God of grace, love, mercy, hope, peace, strength, wonders, hope and life.

All these attributes are inside us, united with our spirit, revealed in our lives through Jesus Christ in all his fullness.

We are never, ever alone Christ is united with us every second we live.

God of grace
God of love
God of mercy
All glorious
In Your presence I remain
Your love filling me again
I am Yours
I am Yours

God of peace
God of strength
God of wonders
My defense
I will worship at Your throne
Your sacrifice has made me whole
I am Yours
I am Yours

Behold the Lamb of God
Who takes away my sin
Lord Jesus crucified for me
This love that knows no end
Your love has set me free
To You I give my all
I am Yours

God of hope
God of life
God forever be lifted high
Jesus Christ revealed in me
My whole life an offering
I am Yours
I am Yours

Behold the Lamb of God
Who takes away my sin
Lord Jesus crucified for me
This love that knows no end
Your love has set me free
To You I give my all
I am Yours

Blessing and honor
Glory and power
Be unto Him
Be unto Him

Behold the Lamb of God
Who takes away my sin
Lord Jesus crucified for me
This love that knows no end
Your love has set me free
To You I give my all
I am Yours

Grace Notes - John 10 v 2-3

John 10:2-3 "But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out."

Jesus Christ is the good shepherd, he leads us besides still waters, he is the voice of reassurance and he shows us that we are righteous in Him.

As Christians we have many things in the 21st century that are trying to take our time, fill our minds, saturate our souls. Everywhere we turn our lives can be filled with constant amusement, we can watch endless re runs of TV drama’s on I-Player and then watch the same programmes on Satellite TV.

God accepts us, loves us, showers his grace upon us and nothing we can do, can separate us from His love and grace given to us. But, I can separate myself from his abundant lavish grace if I fill my life with the worthless over the valuable. I have a choice in life to enjoy all God’s grace or fill my life with the world. The more I live out of my union with Christ in my spirit the greater my mind and soul is renewed and is connected to my heavenly Father.

God’s grace is constant; it is an ever flowing stream of unmerited favor to me. In my spirit I have entered the Promised Land with all its blessings. As I live and enjoy all that God has provided by grace, I become strong, I experience his presence and I am renewed. The transformation is effortless.

Andrew Wommack explains how we are spirit, soul and body and that living from the spirit changes the way we think and live.

This verse promises all who are God's sheep that they not only can, but that they do, hear His voice. Many born-again people doubt the truth of this statement based on their experience. They don't think they can hear God's voice. However, the Word of God is true - not our experience.

The harmony between what this verse says and what our experiences say is that it is our new born-again spirit that hears God's voice. Although God has spoken and still does speak in an audible voice at times, very few people experience this. God speaks to our inner person (spirit) and our inner person hears Him. The problem comes when we aren't sensitive to, or controlled by, our spirit but are walking in the vanity of our mind. The Bible calls this walking in the flesh instead of the Spirit (Gal. 5:16-18).

Man is a spirit, soul, and body. Our spirits are as perfect as they will ever be in heaven. If we will change our thinking so that we believe what God says in His Word about who we are and what we have, then this agreement between our spirit and soul forms a majority and our flesh will experience the life of God that has been deposited in our spirits.

Prayer, Bible study, fasting, fellowship, etc. are ways of refocusing our mind's attention away from the voice of this world and back to the voice of our Shepherd who is constantly communicating with our spirit. If we fail to renew our minds, we can live our entire time on this earth without experiencing the abundant life that Jesus provided for us.

Listen, and you will hear His voice speak to you through His Word today.

I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
